Established in 1970, the Singapore Heart Foundation is an independent, non-profit organization that dedicates towards dissemination of knowledge about the causes and prevention of heart disease. Being Singapore’s leading heart health charity, the SHF is pro-active in helping heart patients and meeting the cardiac needs of the community through education, research, preventive measures and financial assistance programmes.
The SHF conducts regular community and education program on heart health to increase awareness and educate the public on the risk factors contributing to heart disease and stroke. The SHF also runs a series of campaigns and public education program, which are tailored, to the different needs of the society. These programs aim to motivate the public to take on preventive healthy lifestyle measures.
